Canal Flores 2010 and 2011: “The initial two vintages are Malbecs with good varietal character, fresh and well balanced.”

Canal Flores 2011 Barrel Fermented: “A selection of grapes from old vines was vinified in new French oak barrels, with optimal results. Obtaining optimal extraction, fine tannins, and a good integration with oak.”

Viñedo 1910 (2012): “The 2012 vintage shows the real potential of the Spielmann Estates venture. Along with Canal Flores comes the Viñedo 1910, its 4500 bottles come from the best lots of old vine  Malbec.  These vines produce low yield of grapes per plant, and the wine is blended with 15% de Cabernet Sauvignon, which adds complexity, structure and mid palate. A beautiful red for R$ 140.”

Mitos y Leyendas 2012: “The Mitos y Leyendas is an interesting blend, with 67% Malbec, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon e 11% Syrah, particularly the latter adds a spicy touch and gives it a more lively profile.”
